I can totally relate to your last post about not really knowing what you're doing half the time. Four years into parenthood we are still encountering that! Looking back, we are glad for the times we extended more grace instead of relying too much on what you're 'supposed' to do. We have some time to make up for with our kids, do rocking them to sleep longer than our neighbors or sisters did is ok (says the girl who just admitted she doesn't know what shes doing half the time :)
what a wonderful smile ( both smiles) happy to see the LOVE! go with your gut- you may be new at this- but you are doing what is exactly right for you guys! I'm all for the extra of the good stuff- rocking to sleep, cuddles, the time already goes to fast- I'm looking at mine ( 7 and 9) it was only yesterday- truly
Congratulations!! I haven't visited for a while and it was such a burst of pure happiness to see you with your son!!! On reading this post, please don't worry about whether you are doing things 'right'.....parenting is a journey and when you fill it with love, how can you go wrong?
Wonderful! I used to follow your blog and then in October, my email was switched and I could no longer read what was going on with your family. Don't know why, but all of a sudden I was able to when I went to check on referring URLs to my blog. I am so so so happy with what I see--things were pretty touch and go when I last checked in several months ago. Can't wait to read all the happenings!
So wonderful to see this! Thanks for sharing your story, it will be very inspiring for others who are hoping and waiting like you did for so long. What a beautiful family you four make!
